Private sessions
In-person & virtual
Initial Consultation 60 minutes
In-person & Virtual $100
Private, 60-minute behavior consultations are designed to help you better understand your dog and create a clear, practical plan for success in your everyday life.
These sessions are appropriate for all behavior concerns, including:
-
reactivity (dogs, people, environments)
-
anxiety, fear, or overstimulation
-
leash challenges
-
difficulty settling or relaxing
-
confidence building
-
aggression or more complex behavior cases.
No matter the behavior, our focus is on understanding the function behind it, not just managing the surface-level symptoms.
What to Expect
During your session, we will:
-
review your dog’s history, environment, and behavior patterns
-
identify triggers, stress signals, and underlying causes
-
begin hands-on coaching (when appropriate)
-
build a customized, step-by-step behavior plan
Every plan is tailored to your dog, your lifestyle, and your goals, because behavior change has to be realistic and sustainable to work.
A Thoughtful, Whole-Dog Approach
At Charlotte’s Behavior Corner, behavior is never looked at in isolation.
My approach is:
-
science-based and ethical
-
rooted in positive reinforcement
-
guided by least intrusive, minimally aversive (LIMA) practices
-
When needed, I also encourage collaboration with:
-
veterinarians
-
other professionals
to ensure we’re addressing all factors that may be influencing behavior - including health, stress, and environment.
Because lasting change comes from supporting the whole dog, not just correcting behavior.
Support for You, Too
Behavior work isn’t just about the dog, it’s about the entire household.
I work closely with families to:
-
build confidence handling real-life situations
-
ensure consistency across all members of the home
-
create clear communication everyone can follow

60 Minute Private Sessions
In-Person $75 | Virtual $65
✨ Not every dog is ready for a group class and that’s okay. 💕
That’s why we offer private behavior consulting and training sessions, designed to meet you and your dog exactly where you are.
Sessions are available in-person (limited travel) or virtually, making support accessible no matter your location.
Each session is typically 60 minutes and focuses on hands-on coaching, guidance, and real-life application. We’ll work together to review your dog’s behavior and training plan, troubleshoot challenges, and build practical skills you can confidently carry into your daily routine. Sessions can be scheduled weekly, biweekly, or at a pace that best supports your family.
🐾 An initial consultation is required before training begins, for new clients.
Real progress starts with understanding. During your consult, we’ll take the time to uncover the why behind your dog’s behavior and create a personalized plan built for long-term success.
We provide support for dogs of all ages and backgrounds, including:
-
Basic manners and everyday life skills
-
Reactivity, fear, and anxiety
-
Aggression and more complex behavior concerns
-
Under-socialized or sensitive dogs
-
Multi-dog household dynamics
-
Puppies through senior dogs
We also support dogs experiencing behavior changes related to medical or age-related conditions, including cognitive decline (canine cognitive dysfunction) and other health-related behavioral challenges.
Whether your dog is struggling with mild behaviors or more significant concerns, our goal is to help you better understand your dog, build trust, and create lasting, meaningful progress.
💚 You don’t have to navigate it alone, we’re here to help every step of the way.
