Calm & Confident Community Walks

A low-pressure, structured walk for dogs who need space to succeed.

This guided walk is designed for dogs who struggle around other dogs or people and for dogs who simply benefit from calm, structured exposure.

•No greetings.
•No chaos.
•No pressure.

Just movement, neutrality, and intentional spacing to help dogs practice existing calmly in the real world.

 Two ways to participate:

Option A - Walk Only (No Cost)
Join us for a calm, structured walk with clear expectations and a supportive environment. Perfect for dogs who need exposure without interaction.

Option B - Walk + Coaching ($15)
Optional real-time coaching during the walk for handlers who want support with:
• Identifying triggers
• When and how to intervene
• Leash handling & spacing
• Helping dogs regulate through movement

 Important Notes:

• Limited spots to keep things calm and manageable

• No on-leash greetings or interactions

• Dogs must be able to walk with a handler and recover with distance

• Dogs with significant reactive or aggressive behaviors may be asked to start with a private session first. Happy to discuss your dog’s needs
These walks are about building confidence, not fixing dogs.

They’re ideal for reactive dogs, shy dogs, foster dogs, new adopters, and social dogs who benefit from structure.

Location details will be shared after registration.

Behavior 101 Understanding Your Dog

6-part Virtual Series - $60 for whole series

Behavior 101 is a foundational virtual course designed to help dog parents, fosters, and rescue volunteers understand why dogs behave the way they do and how to support meaningful, long-term change.

This six-part series blends behavior science, developmental understanding, and a trauma-informed lens to move beyond quick fixes, punishment, or obedience-only approaches. Instead, we focus on behavior as communication and learning as a process shaped by environment, experience, and emotional safety.

In this series, you’ll learn:

• Why behaviors happen and why they repeat
• How development, stress, and missed foundations impact behavior
• The science behind escalation, extinction bursts, and relapse
• Prevent–Teach–Reinforce as a practical framework for change
• How human responses influence dog behavior (co-regulation & the Integrated Experience)
• How to apply these concepts to real-life challenges like barking, jumping, fear, and reactivity

Course format:

• 6 live virtual sessions
• All sessions are recorded and available to watch at your own pace
• Live attendees may ask questions and receive real-time feedback
• Written resources and practical examples included

This course is ideal for:
• Dog parents feeling overwhelmed or stuck
• Rescue and foster families
• Adolescents, fearful, reactive, or “behaviorally complex” dogs
• Anyone wanting a deeper understanding of behavior, not just instructions.

Behavior 101 is educational in nature and designed to empower families with clarity, confidence, and compassionate tools they can apply at home.
